What is climate change?

Climate change is a long-term change in the average weather patterns that have come to define Earth’s local, regional and global climates. These changes have a broad range of observed effects that are synonymous with the term.

Why Does Climate Change Even Occur

Greenhouse gases allow the sun to shine unchecked on the Earth’s surface. Natural greenhouse gases ensure a temperature suitable for life on Earth as exposed to man-made gases which cause a very high increase in heat. They prevent the heat from being reflected back into space and redirect it to the Earth.

Climate Change Affecting Environmental Life

Climate change may sound like it's changing the climate ina good way but you have got it wrong because it harming our environment. Global climate change has already had many effects on the environment. Glaciers have shrunk, ice on rivers and lakes is breaking up earlier, plant and animal ranges have shifted and trees are flowering sooner.

Effects that scientists had predicted in the past would result from global climate change are now happening: loss of sea ice accelerated sea-level rise and longer, more extreme heatwaves.

There Will Many Environmental Changes

The magnitude of climate change beyond the next few decades depends originally on the amount of heat-trapping gases released globally, and how sensitive the Earth’s climate is to those eruptions.

Temperatures will continue to rise

Because human-induced warming is accidental on a naturally changing climate, the temperature rise has not been, and will not be, smooth across the country or over time.

More Droughts & Heat Waves

Droughts will have heat waves (periods of not normal hot weather lasting days to weeks) everywhere are projected to become more intense, and cold waves less intense everywhere. Summer temperatures are projected to continue rising, and a loss of soil moisture, which increases heat waves.

Solutions To Stop/Get Rid Of Climate Change

This is a huge problem and there isn’t any solution to it yet. All we can do is change the way of how we treat the environment. There are also really good ways to help solve this problem:

Renewable energy

  1. Changing our main energy sources to clean and renewable energy. Solar, Wind, Geothermal and biomass could be the solution.

Air Pollution Prevention

2. Many methods exist to prevent, control and reduce air pollution, in particular by reducing the burning of fossil fuels, and limiting eruptions and waste.

Sea and Ocean preservation

Oceans and seas are the largest storage of greenhouse gases and are an unusual support system for life on this planet. Limiting overfishing, unsustainable development activities in coastal areas and the loss of environmentally friendly products is now essential.

The main way to solve this is to decrease the amount of using greenhouse gases

Do you think Is it too late to prevent climate change?
